FUE Hair Transplant
The most modern technique to restore your hair with natural, permanent results — no scalpel, no visible scar, with a quick recovery.

What Is an FUE Hair Transplant?
The FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) technique consists of individually extracting follicular units from the donor area (back and sides of the head) and precisely implanting them in the balding areas.
Unlike older techniques, FUE leaves no linear scar, allows a faster recovery and ensures a completely natural result — the hair grows as if it had always been there.
Dr. Edson performs the advanced version of the technique, with millimetric control of the angle, depth and direction of each implanted follicle. Learn more about the FUE-DHI technique with the Choi implanter pen and about the hair transplant without shaving the head.

Is a Hair Transplant Right for You?
Frontal Baldness and Receding Temples
Pronounced receding temples, a receded hairline or a high forehead. A classic treatment area with high success rates and high-impact results.
Thinning at the Crown
Thinning or absence of hair at the top of the head. Treatment is possible as long as there is a donor area with sufficient density available.
Beard, Mustache and Eyebrows
The FUE technique is also used to add density to the beard, mustache and eyebrows, with equally natural and permanent results.

All consultations, the surgical planning and every step of the hair transplant are performed personally by Dr. Edson Machado (CRM 187417). We do not delegate essential steps of the procedure to non-physicians.
Which technique is used?
The FUE-DHI technique: individual extraction of the follicles using the FUE technique and implantation with Choi implanter pens, which control the depth, direction and angle of each graft. We also perform transplants without shaving the head (No Shave FUE) in selected cases.
Does an FUE hair transplant hurt?
The procedure is performed under local anesthesia. The only discomfort is the anesthetic injections at the beginning. There is no pain during extraction and implantation.
How long do the results last?
The result is permanent. Transplanted follicles are genetically resistant to hair loss and keep growing for the rest of your life.
How many hairs are transplanted?
On average, between 2,000 and 4,500 follicles per session, depending on the recipient area and the density of each patient's donor area.
How long does recovery take?
You can return to your activities in 3 to 5 days. The scabs that form fall off naturally in about 10 days. Your appearance becomes presentable in approximately 2 weeks.
How much does it cost?
The price varies according to the area treated and the number of follicles needed. Book your consultation to receive a personalized, no-obligation quote.
